The basic burger comes in a variety of ways or even build your own. Mine was cooked well and everything delivered as ordered. Fries were normal fries. These aren't gourmet, ground sirloin burgers, but they are good and very reasonable. I liked the root beer float (but who wouldn't like that). The tasty big cheese and steak sandwich was another option for beef eaters. For healthy eaters, there are chicken and salads options. So the food is basic, a good value and prepared well. The restaurant is not crowded so it is easy to talk. The attentive and professional server (Nova'j) keep everything very clean and are professional and helpful. When so many restaurants have a long wait, crowded room, noisy and hard to chat setting...Hwy 55 Burgers is a toss back to the days of a soda and burger with friends. Try it.
This place was very good. The service was great. My waitress was so polite. The diner had an old school look which is very nice to see. The food was good and very reasonably priced. My cheeseburger was good and the tater tots were also good. Over all I really enjoyed this place. I will come back.
Very friendly wait staff. Very clean. The food was delicious and fresh. Reasonable prices with prompt service.
We stopped in on a hot and muggy summer Georgia night. It was perfect! We were there for concretes. I got one with strawberries and my husband got his with pineapples. They were delicious! A good portion of both ice cream and real fruit for under $4 each. There are a variety of topping options, see menu for details. We did not try any of the food or beverages beyond our ice cream treats. Next time! The woman who served us was so nice. A rare gem in customer service these days. That matched with a fun design in the building with the plethora of windows in the front and clean eating and dining areas. The bathrooms were also spotless. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Ample parking, right off the highway. It's a great place for all ages. You can eat in, carry out or order at the drive thru. See website for menu, hours and location.
The food was soo good! I got a classic Americana single patty burger and it was so thick. The fries came fresh and well salted. When you walk in, it feels like shake shacks but if you dine in, someone takes your order at the table. Not bad at all, just unexpected. Highly recommend. Very affordable and so worth it. I do wish they had a sign at the main road tho. We almost missed it and the location would make it difficult to turn around and make it back.
